Meet Alyson:

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor; Owner of Anew Mentality, LLC

Alyson M. Walters, MS, LPC, LCPC

Alyson is the founder of Anew Mentality LLC. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, an educator and supervisor to student counselors. Alyson is currently working on her PHD in Psychology to advance the field of Psychology. Alyson believes in an integrative approach to therapy that blends mindfulness, cognitive, behavioral and other psychotherapy practices together to achieve a healthy way of living.

Alyson enjoys working with those who believe that change can happen and want to walk the journey to cultivate a life that they see fit! Alyson has focused her therapy career on those who have struggled with trauma, she specializes in helping women see their symptoms for what they are and helping them navigate exploration of self. Alyson uses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Brain-spotting, Holistic approaches and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy practices. She has a passion for helping others meet their goals and loves seeing her clients thrive at living their life to its fullest potential.

Alyson attends many trainings every year to keep current in her specializations as well as to learn new interventions to continue incorporating evidenced based practices. Alyson tries really hard to cultivate a life for herself that increases her well being. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, and decorating.

Meet Claire:

Independent Contractor : Licensed Professional Counselor

Claire Becker, LPC, ATR-P, NCC

Claire is a graduate from Emporia State University and holds her Master’s in Clinical Counseling and Art Therapy. The duo of Clinical Counseling and Art Therapy helps Claire connect with clients verbally, through using art the and creative process. This helps clients express feelings that are beyond words. Claire has an extensive background in trauma informed care, crisis management and processing grief and loss. She specializes in processing complicated grief, trauma, locus of control, mindfulness, and other complicated life issues. Using a blend of the creative process and traditional talk therapy techniques, Claire can help clients identify with their own power and resiliency to help them move through chaotic times in their personal journey. Claire believes in unconditional positive regard and uses evidence-based practices in her therapeutic approach. Claire’s personal self-care is important to her and her own personal art making keeps her grounded. She enjoys painting, ceramics, embroidery, wood-burning, and many other art media to express in her life. When not creating, Claire spends time with loved ones, going on walks, tuning into the beauty of nature, running, and listening to music.

Meet Chase:

Teen Life Coach/ Recovery Coach

Chase is the owner and operator of many businesses and has a passion in helping others achieve their goals through entrepreneurship. Chase has 10 years of experience with owning and operating successful businesses. Chase continues to stays knowledgable in the field of business through trainings and business related courses. Chase has helped many others create and maintain successful businesses as well.

Chase enjoys sports, has a passion for helping others and spending time with his family.

Kayla Raker:

Independent Contractor: LMSW

Kayla is a graduate from Northcentral University and holds her Master’s in Forensic Psychology and Masters of Social Work. Kayla has an extensive background in crisis management and substance use counseling. Kayla believes it’s important to remember that we all need support sometimes, whether it's temporarily or long term. Kayla strives to meet the needs for all of her clients, dedicating her time and attention to ensure a sense of belonging. She’ll meet you where you're at and help identify goals for successful treatment. Kayla’s therapeutic approach integrates various evidence-based techniques, tailoring the treatment to meet the unique needs and goals of each client. She draws from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), talk therapy, and mindfulness-based practices to provide a comprehensive and holistic treatment experience. Kayla engages in outdoors/ fitness as methods of self-care. She enjoys running, hiking, bicycling, and spending time with her family.
